The Sports Circle is a Sport as a Service wellbeing membership platform. We bring together physical health, mental wellbeing, and community connection under one roof — making the support that elite athletes take for granted accessible to everyone.
It means we don’t just give you access to a gym or a fitness app. We wrap sport and movement in a full circle of support — health screening, mental health care, community, and rewards — so that staying active becomes something your whole life can be structured around, not just a habit you try to keep.
Everyone. Whether you’re a grassroots footballer, a park runner, a sedentary office worker taking their first steps back exercising, or a community organisation looking to support your members — there’s a place in the Circle for you.
We have three tiers: Support Circle, Active Circle, and Performance Circle — for both individual members and community or organisational members. Each tier unlocks a deeper level of support, services, and community.
Yes. The Support Circle is deliberately and permanently free. It’s not a trial — it’s our commitment to make membership available to all. Members in the Support Circle pay with WINS, our activity rewards currency, rather than cash. Get and stay active #InTheCircle and this membership is free.
WINS are The Sports Circle’s currency. They are our way of motivating and rewarding healthy activity and positive actions. The more good you do #InTheCircle, whether for yourself or for a good cause, the more WINS you can earn. WINS can then be used to access services, unlock rewards, and contribute to your community — turning everyday activity into real value.
CSP is an earned status for organisations that demonstrate genuine community impact through the platform. It’s not a status that can be bought — it’s a recognition of businesses and organisations that positively contribute to their community.
A CircleMaker is a Sports Circle member who carries influence that helps others to become more active #InTheCircle. They understand the value of community and are trusted enough by those around them to work together to help grow their own community. CircleMakers shape how The Sports Circle shows up in their community.
Yes. Through our community arm, Circle+ CIC, we deliver cardiac screening in partnership with MIAL Healthcare and Cardio Phoenix. This sits at the heart of our #SaferTogether campaign, which exists to protect players and participants at every level of sport.
Sport has always been one of the most powerful tools for positively impacting mental wellbeing — but it needs a flexible and easily accessible infrastructure to underpin it. We make sure that infrastructure is always available.
Absolutely. We have a dedicated community and organisational membership structure, and we work with sports clubs, leagues, county associations, employers, charities and more. If you’re responsible for a group of people’s wellbeing, we’ve built something for you.
Sports Circle TV is our community health infotainment broadcast platform — giving community organisations a voice, stage, and opportunity to engage people like never before.
Circle+ CIC is our Community Interest Company — the social mission arm of The Sports Circle. It delivers community programmes, cardiac screening, and health initiatives for people who need support most.
#SaferTogether is our flagship campaign that enhances community safety and wellbeing by better utilising the economies of scale that exist. We are starting with a focus on cardiac screening with mental health support, allowing us to demonstrate the holistic support we can provide and meaningfully impact two issues that have a devastating effect on a shockingly high number of people across the UK every year.
#HaveAHeart speaks to three things at once: protecting physical heart health, leading with a compassionate heart, and supporting those who work at the heart of their communities. It runs alongside #SaferTogether as a call to action for individual members, clubs, leagues, and communities.
Head to thesportscircle.co.uk and choose the membership that’s right for you. The Support Circle is free to join — your activity does the rest.
